Welcome back to another week and another interview for my Inspired By travel series! I'm so excited to share that this week, I'm featuring an amazing twenty-something travel couple from the Netherlands, Hannah and Nick, who run a travel blog called Salt in our Hair. The pair travels around the world full-time now, creating some amazing content all over the globe (lots of Asia)! I've been following their Instagram story and blog for about a year now and absolutely love that they share their personalities through their stories. I really enjoy watching their Instagram stories especially because they share photo tips from how they setup a tripod and create the photo, to how they edit it. They even share their presets with their followers who have ambitions to create as aesthetically pleasing feed as they have. They travel to some of the most amazing places, and their photographs are so stunning -- I think you'll love following them just as much as I do!

Pin the photo below to share their story!

Q: How many countries have you been to? What’s been your favorite destination so far?

A: About 20 countries. We like to travel slow through countries instead of checking boxes :-) Sri Lanka is our all-time fav destination. We are actually here as we speak for the second time, seeing new areas.

Q: How do you choose what brand partnerships you work with?

A: Easy. Would we use it, yes or no? A huge part of the offers we get is a No. We don’t do many brand partnerships, maybe 3 a year. We don’t like to spam everyone too much.

Q: How do you manage to work and travel full time? How do you squeeze in the “work” when there’s so much fun to be had?

A: We’ve been doing it full-time for 6 months. Before that we worked 40 hours a week on Salt in our Hair as a brand, next to our normal jobs. We tried to take time from 1 PM - 4 PM when the day is hot in Asia and work. We also rented an apartment in Chiang Mai, Thailand for 5 weeks to just work. It is harder to keep up than we had expected.

Q: What advice do you have for budget friendly travel planning?

A: The biggest budget killer are airline tickets. We use about half a day to search for the ideal combination of price, time and location. Don’t stick to much to a travel planning but be flexible. Tickets will be much cheaper.

Q: Where are you traveling next and how did you decide that spot?

A: From Sri Lanka we will visit Singapore, that’s because we found flight tickets to Amsterdam who were 3 times cheaper. After Singapore we will go home for two weeks, followed by Oman and Iceland. We have one big list of places we want to visit. We have written down their ok and good seasons so we will just go through that list.

Q: Where can we find you?
