essential oils

I've been thinking a lot about essential oils lately as recently I've been hearing them come up in conversations with freinds more and more. From cleansing, to helping with pain or weight, to boosting your immune system, essential oils help you restore balance within your body to make you feel your best.

I recently purchased the Deep Blue Rub from doTERRA essential oils for my back pain. It's in the form of a lotion, and works similar to Tylenol, Icy Hot or Bengay, but is much better for you as it's a natural remedy to relieve pain. It works as a replacement to products I typically would use, but it lasts much longer than 4-5 hours like the other products. The Deep Blue Rub does not divert attention from the actual pain by blocking the pain signals being sent to the brain like Icy Hot and Bengay do. It also does not affect your liver like Tylenol or Ibuprofen. So far I really like it, and apply it before I go to work and before bed on days my back is sore. It works instantly.

Many of my friends have been interested in finding out more information on essential oils and how they can be used in our day-to-day, busy lifestyles in San Francisco. My sister-in-law, Allison Funk, manages to keep her entire family (including 3 kids under 5 years old) healthy with various essential oils, which is pretty amazing considering kids are crawling with germs and always on the go! So, I've asked her to share with us some best practices and how us urbanites can use them to keep us healthy. Allison also hosts classes to teach you how they are used, so if you're interested in her putting one on in San Francisco, please contact me. Her contact information is below too if you have any questions. If you'd
